Peeps: Part 2

I hadn’t actually planned on doing a follow up to Peeps. I mean, there really isn’t anything more to talk about. The following sums it up:

I like stale Peeps.

Imagine my surprise then, when I checked the comments section and discovered I had 12 comments. That is the most comments I’ve ever had on a single blog on a single day. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure I had 12 readers.

So, let me say that all of you who commented rock and I answered every single one of you in my comment on your comments. Feel free to comment on my comment, as some of my comments are commendable or could possibly cause contention or confusion (hooray for that English degree!).

I’m also vaguely nervous now. It’s like that old Bugs Bunny cartoon where the giant monster suddenly realizes he’s being watched and runs away screaming (‘Aaaagh! People!’). It’s easy when you think no one’s watching, but now I have to live up to 12 comments.

So . . . yeah, makin’ with the funny.

Ummm . . . zombots!?

Anyone? Bueller?

Anyway, please tune in Monday for a BRAND NEW FEATURE! There will also be a new comic on Tuesday.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Cheers,
-Jason

you are *too* ridiculous for words. sometimes your blogs make me question your sanity, like the one about doing your laundry. i mean, WHO CARES. hahaha! but i continue reading your blogs anyway, because you are sometimes hilarious, often give good linkage ;-) and i love your comic. but today is over the top - 12 readers? for one of the best fantasy comics online? or maybe you were just referring to readers of your blog...i recently linked your comic up at a few other sites as one of the top fantasy comics - see catalyst's guestbook or lint comic's comments for examples - two of my other favorite fantasy comics. but i notice i am not the only one - and i only got here from a similar link from one of your fans in xylia's comments. so...let's say your fans are doing some PR for you. that's word of mouth - and you so deserve it! more readers are coming your way.

We are not, repeat, not, watching you... we are merely monitoring the words you type, the thoughts you think and the ... anyhow... just you focus on this wand here... its gonna go flash soon and i want you to look deep into it alright? On the count of 1... 2... *Flash*

Your goddess Amaterasu Omikami seeks to possess the Amulet of Yendor, and with it to gain deserved ascendance over the other gods.

You, a newly trained Hatamoto, have been heralded from birth as the instrument of Amaterasu Omikami. You are destined to recover the Amulet of Yendor for your deity, or die in the attempt. Your hour of destiny has come. For the sake of us all: Go bravely with Amaterasu Omikami!

I have a friend that used to collect Peeps. He'd have unopened boxes from years prior. He finally got rid of them, but before, of course, we put a few in the microwave for some fun.

Also, I refer you to the first few panels of this comic: http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0015.html

To me, peeps are meh. Better stale, but not the greatest foodstuff in the world.

My family, however- my daughter won't go to sleep without her stuffed peep. (Poly pellets, not marshmallows.) I need to buy some for both of my girls, so my wife doesn't go ballistic because she has to share...

No no, 18 (I counted the ones between the first Anonymous leading up to this post) readers! I haven't been reading too long, but once I found this little treasure of a webcomic, I read from first page, to the latest at the time and have been reading since, checking in every day in hopes of an update. (It's crazy when there are, birds start singing, The Genie pops into existence and begins singing and dancing..) The story is riveting, at least to me, and the art is amazing. Your blogs are also the essence of awesome, turned into text.

Peeps + microwave= good times.(for you, not to the microwave's owner)

Should I add my name to the list of watchers? *hasn't posted yet XD*

I've been watching your comic for a relatively short time, but because of it's awesomesauce, I obviously keep returning to read the next page every week. ;3

Thanks, spas (can I call you spas?) I was just referring to readers of my blog (and being slightly facetious). We appreciate all the good things being said by all of our fans!

Okay, Vonbek, now I've got another quest to do! I still haven't found Odin's Pie Server yet and now this. My weekends are gonna be busy . . .

Yeah, Erfworld! I do keep up with that comic. It took a while for me to get into it, but the current arc is really interesting. Poor Bogroll :(

A stuffed Peeps toy? Cute!

Thanks, Acheron! Comic updates on Tuesdays, but please come back often :)

Well said, Matt.

Thanks also, Subitayo!
