The title of today's blog has nothing to do with the actual blog, it's more a public service announcement.
Why I felt I needed to make such a public service announcement is a mystery, even to me.
So, another long, yet curiously fast, week is over. I accomplished a lot, but don't really remember much of it. I'm pretty sure I called my boss a 'fiend from hell' at one point, but I'm also pretty sure he took it as a compliment.
On the home front, issue #6 is rapidly coming to a close. I believe we only have five or six more pages to go and the first 6 issue arc will be done. This, of course, means one thing:
Graphic Novel.
Yes, we will be producing a graphic novel of the first six issues. We're not sure exactly when that will be available, but rest assured it will come out.
Also, the San Diego Comic-Con is coming up!
Leigh and I will be there and ideally, Leigh will also be accepting the '09 Russ Manning Award. Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.
Have a safe and fun weekend!
Cheers,
-Jason

i hope the follow up reports in the past tense... "at the con leigh gracefully accepted the manning award for his outstanding work".
I like this title. Let me tell you, not many things are as fun as a few pounds of C4.
I really like the artillery simulators. They're extra-fun at the 4th of July party. (I wonder how long the cops looked, anyhow?) They make the ground shake. A lot.
Plus, you can cut steel, chop down trees, and make instant forts, plus things like annoy the neighbors, call *all* the cops at once, and make big holes in things like roads.
I used to be a combat engineer, so I actually knew how to handle the stuff. I later was a munitions specialist in an ordinance unit, so I had it pass through my hands a lot. And throughout it all, I was a delinquent, so I... did absolutely none of things. Honest. :P
By the way, Gunner wouldn't be the Tail Gunner for Southern Cruisers, would it?
I hope so too :)
I've never played with explosives (barring firecrackers and the like), though there was the chemistry teacher at my high school who cleared stumps with milk jugs full of 'something' he whipped up.
I completely believe you, Jerron. You were an absolute saint :)
:( Speaking of Fireworks. We've got a drought and burn bans going on around here, so at this point, we aren't allowed to have fireworks on the 4th of July. :(
Yeah, that used to happen all the time when I was a lad in California :(
