Two Things

First of all, I would like to rectify the situation from last Tuesday.

If you recall, I mentioned our Super Fan who traveled by bus to see us at the Olympia Comic Con. She mailed us after my blog and actually told us her name:

And so, without further ado, our Super Fan #1 is:

Oh, carp.

Wait, I know this.

Just kidding. Diane is her first name (I'm witholding her last name for privacy's sake). Here's to you, Diane! Thank you for being, well, you. Thank you, as well, for braving the wilds of Washington Public Transit to come and see us.

NOTE: 'carp' is not a typo. I originally mis-typed it, but then thought it was funnier that way. So, yes, it's on purpose. I also habitually spell (and say) 'voila' as 'viola' for the same reason. Eventually, I'll use 'Viola, carp!' in a sentence and my life will be complete.

The second thing:

This went around work the other day and is amazingly cool.

I totally want to do this. I realize I will probably hurt myself (a lot), but 'wow.' I hear there's a class in Bellevue. I may have to check it out.

What am I saying? I will check it out. It looks like too much fun to pass up.

*laugh* That's awesome, the video. The backflips from running up the wall aren't that big of a deal, we use to do that all the time, but the other stuff they're doing.. INSANE.
It's primarily one thing.. YOUTH..
*chuckles* When I was a kid, the old men use to call this.. being full of piss and vinegar.

There was some clips from a movie in there. Here goes my.. Not knowing what I'm talking about. I can't find the movie. I believe it was foreign made, like block 19 or k17... it's the part where that guy throws himself through that little window over the door, then a few scenes after that. Not much of a story, but some pretty good action.

That young guy, towards the end, jumping aroudn those abandoned buildings, I kept waiting to see him go through the roof on one.

Impressive stuff, makes me feel OLD.

Banilieu 13? I've never seen it, but I've heard it was the first film to feature parkour.

It makes me want to run around and jump off of buildings :)

HAHA.. I don't even know what to say to this.. I bet your parents stopped taking you to the superman movies rather fast, didn't they.

Banilieu 13? doesn't sound right. Hmm now I have to go find it.

Wait, found it... you are correct sir. It says the US version was District 13, and the UK version was District B13, so I suppose Banilieu means district 'eh? *shrug*
If the link comes out, that's a 3 minute chase scene, probably the one the movie is famous for. It's the one they took pieces from for that video. Fun stuff.

So. .blah blah.. MOO

This video is not available in your country because of copyright restrictions ...

oh my BEEEEEP!!!!!!!!!!

well hope it was fun, guess I'll have to download it from some piratesite instead.

Anony.. what country are you in?
I know the UK locks us Amercians (USA) out of some of there stuff, due to copyright restrictions.

Stinks, because I have to get my dr. who fix from time to time, and it leaves me combing the sub-par pirate sites for it, rather then just getting the stuff from the BBC straight out.

Might be able to find it somewhere else for ya, if we know what you're NOT restricted from.

I have friends who swear by Hulu, but I haven't tried it yet. That might help.
