So Leigh and I, along with his lovely wife, went to see Hot Fuzz yesterday afternoon. It was a very fun movie, though a touch long in the second act. There were lots of good lines, fun performances by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and even Point Break references. It is rather bloody in parts, so be warned. There are also cameos by two Oscar winners, so see if you can spot them (they went completely by me).
Pretty much, if you liked Shaun of the Dead, you will love this. Overall, I would give it 1.9 thumbs out of a possible 2.3.
