So, here I am. Or rather, there is Vronheimus, my level 58 Tauren Warrior. I have just reached the Hellfire Peninsula. Yes, I realize I am about six-months late, but I like to take my time.
In the two hours I have been in Outland, I have had a major weapon upgrade and replaced three pieces of blue armor with green stuff that has dropped off random mobs. Wow. Really, just WoW (pun intended).
My initial observations: the Outlands are tough. Adds are common. Care must be taken when pulling. There are lots of casters that can heal and do other bad things. I like to solo and with a Warrior with few escape options, I am dying a lot more. I like it. I like the danger and the challenge. Taking down that third add with just a sliver of health left is what it is all about.
My only gripe so far is that it takes two Fel Ores to make one Fel Iron Bar. Though on the plus side, my Mining is going through the roof.
More later, there are mobs that need pummeling.
Cheers,
-Jason
