I came across this the other day and was pretty much blown away. It's Tim Burton's 9.



I really love something about the way the characters look and the familiar, yet bizarre world they inhabit. Personalble creatures, battling overwhelming evil, it never ceases to grab my attention.

This is the original short the movie is based on. It's obviously a bit different, but it's a truly stunning piece of animation.



I honestly can't wait for '9' to come out.

Is the first trailer official?
Cause the music in the beginning of it is from the Swedish band "The Knife" and I don't know if it's so known

Very Myst-ish feel to 9, if you're familiar with the whole Myst series.

i can imagine tim burton using some obscure swedish band for the soundtrack - entirely appropriate music too.

love the clips, thanks for posting, much more interesting than the ones about your laundry (hahaha) and i really want to thank you guys for getting back on track with the comic. painful separation anxiety...relieved. the 'escape' page was brilliant as is the new cover. nice work.

Yeah, now that you mention it, 9 does have that sort of familiar, yet otherworldly feel to it.

Glad to hear it, spasticfreakshow :) But, you don't like reading about my laundry? I use detergent and everything . . . :)
